Refund Policy

Important Information

This refund policy applies to RecruitGem AI subscription charges only. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you understand the service features and limitations. Please review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before subscribing.

Subscription Refunds

RecruitGem AI, operated by Alovalabs, offers subscriptions on a monthly basis. We provide a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions.

If you're not satisfied with RecruitGem AI within the first 7 days of your subscription, we'll refund your subscription fee in full. This applies to the subscription charge only, not to used credits or other fees.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 7-day guarantee period:

  1. Contact us at info@alovalabs.in
  2. Include your account email and subscription details
  3. Briefly explain why you'd like a refund
  4. We'll process your refund within 5 business days

Note: Refunds are processed to the original payment method (card, bank account, etc.). Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refunds After 7 Days

After the initial 7-day period, all subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time, and you won't be charged for the following month.

You'll retain access to RecruitGem AI and your data until the end of your current billing cycle.

Credits and Usage

Credits are non-refundable once used. When you conduct an interview, your account is charged in credits immediately. These credits cannot be refunded, even within the 7-day period.

Your monthly credit allowance resets every 30 days from your subscription date. Unused credits do not carry over to the next billing cycle.

Payment Processing and Banking

Payments are securely processed through Paddle, our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner. All refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Processing Timeline: After we approve and process your refund request:

  • Refund initiated within 1 business day
  • Transaction appears in your bank account within 5-10 business days
  • Timing varies based on your bank's processing speed

Account Cancellation

You can cancel your RecruitGem AI account at any time through your billing settings or by contacting us.

  • Cancellation takes effect immediately. No further charges will be made.
  • You retain access to the platform and your data until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • After cancellation, your account data (candidates, interviews, reports) is preserved for 30 days.
  • After 30 days of inactivity, data is permanently deleted from our systems.
  • To prevent deletion, you must reactivate your subscription within the 30-day window.

Exceptions and Special Cases

Partial Refunds: If you've used some credits within the 7-day period, you may be eligible for a partial refund calculated as: (Unused Credits ÷ Total Monthly Credit Allowance) × Subscription Fee. Please contact us for calculation details.

Duplicate Charges: If you believe you've been charged twice or erroneously charged, contact us immediately at info@alovalabs.in. We'll investigate and refund any erroneous charges within 48 hours.

What's NOT Covered by This Refund Policy

The following are explicitly not refundable:

  • Credits that have been consumed (interviews conducted)
  • Service fees, overage charges, or additional features purchased beyond the base subscription
  • Subscriptions cancelled after the 7-day period
  • Issues or losses related to how you used the Service (e.g., bad hiring decisions)
  • Technical support, consulting, or professional services
